Dangerous Adventures for Boys & Girls

Brand New for the coming summer season! Family fun days.

Fancy a new activity that is fun and exciting.

Lets head back to those childhood adventures from films and books (Swallows and Amazons, Famous Five) or even modern day like Ray Mears.

Build dens, cook food on an open fire, sleep in a hamock!

Build a raft and see how far you can get before it falls apart. Messing about in boats and of course getting wet!

Here are a few courses.

Land Adventure 4th and 5th June 2011

Set in a private forest in North wales we will build shelters out of natural materials, learn how to light a fire without matches, cook some food(not caught by us) then settle down for the night and hopefully learn a thing or two about the night sky (assuming it is clear).

Along with this we will have a go at the ancient art of archery before we de camp and head off home.

Cost is £90.00 per person all inclusive of food

Wet and Wild Day

July 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th (pick the day best suited to you)

Based on a lake on the edge of the Lake District.  with easy access from the M6 motorway.

Try your hand at various water craft, canoes, kayaks then in a small team build the best possible raft you can! once complete embark on a maiden voyage until it falls apart!!

Lots and lots of fun and the chance to get wet and maybe find that new activity to pursue

Cost £40.00 each for the whole day (including a BBQ lunch)

IoL Northern conference at Borwick Hall

This was a cold morning learning about the skills required to build a willow dome and arch way.

Myself and 11 other outdoor professionals from across the north had much fun getting to grips with live willow.  The finished result can be seen towards the end of the summer when it has rooted and started to flurish in the garden.
